I beg to draw your especial attention to this

Clause in view of the fact that so much has been alluded

to as being due to friction.

It will be noted that other officers experi- enced difficulty in obtaining satisfactory plans from the Architects for the New Post Office.

I would also beg to draw your attention to

the remarks respecting the New Law Courts where no

difficulty whatever occurred with regard to plans,

designs, details, etc., from Sir Aston Webb and Mr.

E. Ingress Bell, who would doubtless confirm these

statements.

I beg to further comment re (a), (b), and

(c) under Clause 6.

With respect to the friction complained of

by Mr. Ram, it is I submit, not worth considering under

the circumstances; kindly see, however, Mr. Denison's

remarks under "Notes of Interview" marked "B",
